A Spellplagued Land
The Dancing Elf
This is the largest inn in the town of Daggerford. Even when caravans aren’t in town, The Dancing Elf is often full of townsfolk looking for food and drink after a hard day of work. The inn is 3 floors, and a basement. The basement in first floor consist of tables, bars, and a kitchen where a person can enjoy fine food and drinks from around the land. The 2nd and 3rd floors are rooms for rent. The rooms are comfortable, each having a bed, footlocker, and small closet.
The owner of The Dancing Elf, surprisingly, is not an elf. The inn is operated by Jamine Evermore, a female human. Jamine is also known for her roll as the leader of the town militia. Jamine enjoyed a life of adventuring from place to place, often joining different town and city militia to fend off attacks by evil enemies. She often joined free of charge to promote good will. Jamine was often awarded some coin or items as tokens of friendship from the places she helped. Jamine once joined the militia of Daggerford against a combined orc and goblin assault when she was travelling through the town as a caravan guard. Jamine took control of the unorganized townspeople and organized a defense of the town that lasted for four days before Waterdeep could organize a force to move into Daggerford and repel the attackers. Jamine was offered friendship and coin from both Daggerford and Waterdeep, and in exchange asked only to be given a building that had been burned down in the attack. Daggerford graciously passed ownership of the building, which was formally a town owned property.
Jamine had made her choice, and decided that the road was no longer the way for her. She spent her hard earned coin to rebuild and remodel the building into the great tavern and inn that it is today.
